After a season with a stunning 93 race days, over 50 starts on the UCI-calendar, Team Bliz-Merida can label itself the best Swedish team in the international races (summarizing UCI-points earned by the team in UCI cat. 2, 1 and HC-races). The team contributed to make races interesting in 13 countries. The riders claimed a total of 19 victories on various levels. The crown jewel was the stage win in Baltic Chain Tour (UCI 2.2), Estonia, by Matti Manninen.

- We have a strong team, a solid race program and very competent staff memebers. We will do a full program of international races in 2016 and once again we will try to prove ourselves among the strongest teams in Scandinavia, concludes team manager Dennis Nystrand.

Team Bliz-Merida is a team that races with more heart than money. The funding from present sponsors goes to realize the program and to provide the riders with high quality equipment. The team was started by Nystrand in 2005. Next year will be the 12th season since the premier.

- We are welcoming new partners into our project. We can offer good marketing at a fair price. We are passionate about our work. We have a long term development plan for the riders and every year our riders are requested to teams on the higher level. We need simple things like better cars, more funding to make travelling less energy consuming, funding for more staff to back up the riders and money to be able relieve the riders from the stress of not having a steady income every month.
